The Vol freshman duo of Mikelis Libietis and Hunter Reese qualified for the exclusive 16-team doubles draw by winning the USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships on Monday.
The Lady Vols will once again have a participant in both the singles and doubles draws. Senior Natalie Pluskota and junior Kata Szekely teamed up for the first time to win the USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championship doubles tournament in Memphis two weeks ago.
Pluskota also made it into the 32-player singles draw as an at-large invitation.
The USTA/ITA Indoors runs Nov. 3-6 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y., the site of the US Open. A live blog for all Tennessee's matches will be available at UTSports.com and UTLadyVols.com.
