Vols In The NFL Update (8/22)

Two games last night in the NFL. Here's a quick look at former Vols in action.

- On NBC, the Chargers downed the Cowboys, 20-7. Jason Witten scored Dallas' lone touchdown on a 6-yard pass from Tony Romo. (WATCH HIGHLIGHT). Witten finished with three catches for 17 yards. With San Diego, both WR Kelley Washington and T Eric Young played, but neither had any stats.

- The Bengals fell to the Jets, 27-7. Jonathan Wade returned from a shoulder injury and made four tackles. Gibril Wilson missed the game with a knee injury.

- Also, Aubrayo Franklin suffered a sprained MCL, in the Saints' loss to the Texans this weekend. He will be sidelined for a while. Read about the injury in these stories.
