- In one of two games with five former Vols on rosters, the Saints topped the 49ers 24-3. On defense with the Saints, Turk McBride and Jabari Greer (who was on the cover of the game program) each had two tackles. Aubrayo Franklin didn't have any stats. Robert Meachem had two balls thrown his way, but didn't make a catch. With San Francisco, Parys Haralson made two stops.

- The Bucs blanked the Chiefs, 25-0. For Tampa Bay Nick Reveiz played late, but didn't make any tackles. Luke Stocker and Jonathan Crompton didn't see any action. With Kansas City, Eric Berry started and made a tackle. Punter Dustin Colquitt boomed seven punts for a 48.0 average.
- Washington got the better of Pittsburgh with a 16-7 win. Donte' Stallworth made three catches for 46 yards for the Redskins. With Pittsburgh, Chris Scott started at left guard and Ramon Foster came on as a back-up lineman.
- The Dolphins beat the Falcons 28-23 as Kevin Burnett made his Miami debut and started, but had no tackles. Tony McDaniel made two stops for the Phins. Rookie LaMarcus Thompson played for Atlanta, but had no stats.
- The Bengals fell 34-3 to the Lions. Both former Vols on Cincinnati, Jonathan Wade and Gibril Wilson, didn't play in the game.
