While football season is officially here, today also marks 33 days until it's officially "Football Time in Tennessee."
On Nov. 30, 1946, the Vols set a UT record, allowing a single-game low of just 33 plays to Vanderbilt. That helped Tennessee clinch the SEC Championship and earn a bid to play in the Orange Bowl.
