Witten Reaches 1,000 Career Receptions
VFL Jason Witten had five catches for 45 yards against Washington on Nov. 22 and now has 1,003 career catches, 10th-most all-time. He passed Hines Ward and Larry Fitzgerald (1,000 each) on the all-time list in the 19-16 win for the Dallas Cowboys.
Witten is just the second tight end in NFL history to amass 1,000 career receptions, joining the great Tony Gonzalez (1,325). Of the all-time top 10 in receptions, only Witten (Cowboys), Marvin Harrison (Colts) and Reggie Wayne (Colts) recorded all of their catches with one team. He ranks third in career receptions among active players, trailing only free agent Reggie Wayne (1,070) and Colts wideout Andre Johnson (1,040).
Patterson Is NFL's Top Kick Returner
VFL Cordarrelle Patterson returned a kick 101 yards, untouched for a touchdown in Minnesota's 38-7 loss to the Seattle Seahawks last week. He leads the NFL with a 31.1 kickoff return average and is the only player with two kickoff returned for scores this year.

- VFL Jordan Williams made his NFL debut in Week 13 for the Miami Dolphins. Miami defeated Baltimore 15-13. He signed with the Dolphins off of their practice squad last week.
