A native of Princes Town in Trinidad & Tobago, Thompson just completed her senior season on Rocky Top. A strong season saw Thompson record a career-best time of 22.43 in the preliminary round of the 50-meter freestyle at the SEC Championships before finishing eighth in the consolation final. During those same Championships, Thompson picked up the second SEC medal of her career when she placed third in the 200 free relay with teammates Faith Johnson, Amy Lubawy, and Harper Bruens.
Thompson went on to be a named a 2015 honorable mention All-American and a member of the 2015 SEC Community Service Team.Â
