A native of Lexington, Kentucky, Floyd competed for Tennessee as a member of the women's swimming squad from 2009-13.She was a three-time NCAA champion, claiming all of her titles during her senior season in a trio of relays. She won national championships in the 200 freestyle relay, the 200 medley relay, and the 400 medley relay. She earned 24 All-America certificates during her time on Rocky Top -- the most in Lady Vol history -- and grabbed 16 SEC medals, including six gold.Â
