One of the greatest collegiate women's basketball players of all time, Parker played three years for the Lady Vols, winning back-to-back national championships in 2007 and 2008. She was twice named the Most Outstanding Player at the NCAA Tournament and she concluded her UT career with a record of 101-10 and averages of 19.4 points and 8.8 rebounds per game.
After forgoing her senior season (Parker graduated with a degree in sport management in 2008), Parker was drafted with the first overall pick by the Los Angeles Sparks. Her professional career has also included time with UMMC Ekaterinburg in Russia. She is also a two-time Olympic gold medalist. Her jersey was retired at the University of Tennessee last season.Â
