Shane Switzer of the Daily Beacon previews Tennessee Track & Field's competition at the VT Elite Meet this weekend. The meet gets underway on Friday night at 5 p.m. ET with Saturday's session beginning at 11 a.m. In all, 31 UT student-athletes will be in action this weekend, including four who rank inside the top 10 in NCAA Division I in their respective events: Jake Blankenship (pole vault), Cameron Brown (weight), Tavis Bailey (shot put), Cassie Wertman (shot put), and Christian Coleman (60m). The Tennessee men will also be competing as a ranked indoor team for the first time since 2009.
