- Joey Kent (Football) - A two-time All-State receiver at Johnson High in early 1990s; Four-year letterman at University of Tennessee from 1993-96. All-SEC as a senior. Holds all-time UT records in career yards (2,814), most receptions (183) and most touchdowns (25 in 44 games). Played four years in the NFL, three for the Titans and one for the Vikings. Now a pharmaceutical salesman in Brentwood, Tenn.
