Who wouldn't want to be Joshua Dobbs right now? He's working on his aeronautical engineering degree; he hung out with Peyton Manning this summer; and after Saturday's overtime win at South Carolina, he's quickly becoming a celebrity around campus.
Life is good for the Tennessee quarterback.
"People recognized me before, but I would say it's definitely picked up," Dobbs said Tuesday. "People have just been congratulating me on the win, telling me good performance. I'm thankful to have the support of classmates."
Dobbs even got a standing ovation when he walked into one of his classes this week. Can you blame his fellow students for getting excited? After 301 passing yards, 166 rushing yards and five touchdowns against the Gamecocks, it looks as if the Volunteers have found their quarterback of the future.
