Lauricella was a back for the Vols from 1949-51. He earned All-American honors in 1951 and All-SEC First Team selection in 1950 and 1951. He won a regional award in 1950 for most outstanding tailback and was second in the 1951 Heisman vote. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1981.Â
Kelly is one of the seven legacy freshmen on the roster, following his father Todd Kelly Sr. He has started in two of the five games so far this season and has 13 tackles and two interceptions on the season.
Finch, a redshirt freshman long snapper, has yet to see action for the Vols. He was a three-year letterwinner at Maryville High School and helped his team to the championship game in each of his seasons on varsity, winning the 2010 and 2011 titles.
