
Complete Release
The complete list of candidates for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2013 was released Thursday and consists of 127 nominees comprised of 89 players, 14 coaches and 24 contributors.
One of those 127 nominees is former Vol and wide receiver Stanley Morgan, who spent the majority of his career with the New England Patriots (1977-1989) and finished his NFL career with the Indianapolis Colts in 1990.
Morgan, a native of Easley, S.C. played for the Vols from 1973-76. He was taken in the first round of the 1977 NFL Draft as the 25th overall pick for the Patriots. A four-time Pro-Bowler (1980, 81, 87, 88) Morgan and the Patriots also made an appearance in the 1986 Super Bowl.
