Smith was named the WTT Male Rookie of the Year during the July regular season, leading the Breakers to an 8-6 record. He won his final five singles matches of the season, including back-to-back victories over ATP top-40 player Kevin Anderson.Â
A win by the Breakers would put the team in Sunday's league finals. The match starts Sunday at 3:30 p.m. and will be televised live by NBC Sports Network.Â
