Lady Vol basketball has been highlighted in the news around the globe the last few weeks. Â
Pat Summitt was honored with an ICON Award from the United States Tennis Association on Tuesday. Summitt was presented with the 2012 Billie Jean King Legacy Award for her contributions to diversity and inclusion.
King credited Summitt as the woman who "changed the face of all sports, not just women's sports."

Chamique Holdsclaw has been sowing the seeds of hoops and hope around the globe lately as the former Lady Vol traveled to Senegal and South Africa at the end of August.
Part of Basketball Without Borders, Holdsclaw held a basketball clinic demonstrating techniques and drills, as well as promoting education and healthy activity.
