Why she chose Tennessee: "Tennessee just seemed to stand out. It had everything I have ever looked for in a college. There is a strong athletic program and good academics that are hard to find. I also just loved the city and school atmosphere. Tennessee just felt so perfect.
She has one sibling, Nicole, and she is the daughter of Richard and Fie Ling Whiston
