Cantú Announces 2026-27 Women’s Golf Schedule

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee women's golf head coach Diana Cantú revealed her team's schedule for the 2026-27 season on Wednesday.
"We're excited to officially announce our 2026-27 schedule," said Cantú. "Every tournament will challenge us in different ways, and that's exactly what we want as we continue building toward our goals. Competing against elite fields throughout the year will help us continue to grow and position ourselves for championship golf in the spring."
Tennessee enters the new campaign on the back of a banner year for the program in 2025-26. The Lady Vols won a single-season program record four tournaments, including the first conference championship in program history, culminating in a second consecutive trip to the NCAA Championships. On the individual front, Tennessee returns two All-Americans and All-SEC selections in Kyra Van Kan and Madison Messimer.
The reigning SEC Champions are set to compete in nine tournaments across the fall and spring before defending the team's conference crown in April.
The schedule begins with a four-tournament fall slate featuring three events the Lady Vols participated in last fall. Tennessee will open its season Sept. 7-8 at the Cougar Classic, hosted at Yeaman's Hall in Charleston, S.C. The team earned a runner-up finish in the 2025 Cougar Classic to begin last season.
After competing in the inaugural Canadian Collegiate Invitational in 2025, which was the first-ever NCAA women's golf tournament hosted in Canada, the Lady Vols will return to Aurora, Ontario, for the second edition of the event. Beacon Hall Golf Club plays host to the tournament Sept. 21-22.
Tennessee will begin October with its annual home event Oct. 4-6 as the team hosts the Mercedes Benz Intercollegiate at Cherokee Country Club. The Lady Vols will defend their tournament title, as they earned their first of four victories last season in the event.
The fall schedule wraps up with a trip to the Lone Star State, as Tennessee takes part in the Abilene Christian Intercollegiate. The tournament, Oct. 19-21 at Halbert National in Granbury, Texas, will be aired live on the Golf Channel.
Another familiar event awaits Tennessee to begin the spring as the Lady Vols return to Osprey Point Golf Course in Boca Raton, Fla., for the FAU Paradise Invitational, set for Feb. 2-4. Tennessee opened the spring on a strong foot in the event in 2026, earning their second win of the season as Van Kan claimed individual medalist honors.
The Lady Vols will return to the Sunshine State less than two weeks later for the Moon Golf Invitational, Feb. 15-17 at Suntree Country Club in Melbourne, Fla. It will be the third consecutive season Tennessee has competed in the event.
Tennessee will then make its first appearance in the Gator Invitational since 2022 as the team competes in a third consecutive tournament in Florida. The event is set for March 6-7 at Mark Bostick Golf Course in Gainesville, Fla.
The final two events for Tennessee prior to the SEC Championships remain unchanged from the 2025-26 season as the Lady Vols will wrap up regular season competition with the Clemson Invitational and the Huntington Bank Collegiate. The Reserve at Lake Keowee in Sunset, S.C., once again hosts the Clemson Invitational, which is set for March 21-23, while the Huntington Bank Collegiate will take place Apr. 5-6 at Dallas Athletic Club.
The SEC Championships return to Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Fla., for a fourth consecutive season. Tennessee's conference title defense will begin on April 16, spanning through April 20 if the Lady Vols can make another run to the match play championship.
NCAA Regionals are slated for May 10-12 across six host sites. Should they qualify for a third consecutive season, the NCAA Championships will be held May 21-26 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.
