Shorter Wins 3-Meter in Day Two of Tennessee Diving Invitational

KNOXVILLE, Tenn -- Lynae Shorter kept up her strong week, taking first place in the 3-Meter on the second day of the Tennessee Diving Invitational. Two other top three performances on the men's side highlighted action on Thursday at the Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center.
Shorter took first place in the women's 3-meter final, finishing with a score of 338.10. This marked the first win of the season for Shorter, and her seventh top three finish of the year. Emma Rhines earned a top 10 finish in the 3-meter final, checking in with a score of 244.80 for eighth place.
On the men's side, Bennett Greene and Thomas Ciprick each notched podium finishes. Greene finished in second place in the 1-meter, putting up a score of 390.35. Ciprick followed up his second place finish in the 3-meter on Wednesday, finishing in third place in the 1-meter for the Vols with a score of 362.60. Nick Stone picked up his first top five finish of 2026, recording a score 342.45 to secure fifth place. Frazer Tavener rounded out the Vols that finished in the top 10 in the 1-meter, with the New Zealander placing 10th overall in the event.
The Tennessee Diving Invitational concludes on Friday with the Combined Platform event. Finals begin at 11 a.m. and will be streamed live on SEC Network+.
