ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. - The Tennessee men's golf team wrapped up its second round of the SEC Championships at Sea Island Golf Club's Seaside Course Thursday.

The Vols are in 14th place at 11-over as they enter Friday's third round of stroke play.

After Friday's final round of stroke play, the top eight teams in the field will continue onto to the match play portion of the tournament, which begins on Saturday.

Bruce Murphy paced UT in the second round with an even-par 70. The Atlanta, Georgia, native bounced back nicely on day two and enters round three tied for 36th at 1-over.

Redshirt junior Lance Simpson and freshman Jackson Herrington are 2-over heading into Friday's round after each posting a pair of 71s throughout rounds one and two.

Josh Hill is tied for 69th and sits 6-over through two rounds of play after carding 73s on day one and two.

Evan Woosley-Reed posted a 73 in round one and a 76 in the second round.
