Two Lady Vols in Top Five Heading into Final Day at MountainView Collegiate

TUSCON, Ariz. – Tennessee senior Kayla Holden and freshman Martina Lopez-Lanchares are in fifth and UT sits tied for eighth overall at 5-over (581) after the second round at the MountainView Collegiate on Saturday.
Holden continues to lead the way for UT with an overall score of 3-under (141). Her round on Saturday featured three holes below par, including two straight birdies to close out the front nine.
Competing as an individual, Lopez-Lanchares was the best-performing Tennessee golfer in round two, earning a score of 3-under (69) to join Holden in fifth place entering Sunday's final round at the Preserve Golf Club. She tallied five birdies during Saturday's action.
Sophomore Manassanan Chotikabhukkana and senior Vanessa Gilly also each earned rounds of par or better. Chotikabhukkana finished round two with a score of 1-under (71), including four birdies, and is tied for 18th entering Sunday even with par (144). Gilly shot a round of par (72) to make her score 6-over (150) and sits tied for 52nd through two rounds.
Sophomore Angela Arora shot a 2-over (74) and is at 4-over (148) for the tournament to place herself tied for 40th. Junior Bailey Davis is tied for 73rd after a mark of 7-over (79) on Saturday to move her score to 11-over (155).
