Three Lady Vols Named WGCA All-American Scholars

Three Lady Vol golfers were named WGCA All-American Scholars, the Women's Golf Coaches Association announced Tuesday.
Angela Arora, Kayla Holden and Vanessa Gilly each earned a spot on the 2022-23 WGCA All-American Scholar Team. This marks Arora's first time receiving the honor, while Holden and Gilly claimed the honor for a third consecutive year.
To be selected, student-athletes must have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher and played in 50 percent of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year through the team's conference championship.Â
This marks the eighth consecutive season that three or more Lady Vols have been named WGCA All-America Scholars. During the 2020-21 season, a program-record-breaking five Lady Vols received the honor.
