VFLs Wrap NBA Summer League Action

Kyle Alexander | Washington Wizards
In five Summer League games with the Wizards, Alexander averaged 6.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game. He shot at a .632 clip from the field in 15.2 minutes per contest.
In Washington's second-to-last game of the Summer League, Alexander earned a starting assignment and logged 12 points on 4-4 shooting with three rebounds and two blocks.

Jordan Bowden | Los Angeles Clippers
Bowden played in four games for the Clippers during Summer League action, tallying 8.3 points, 1.0 assists and 0.8 steals on 46.4 percent shooting from the floor.
On July 10, Bowden impressed with 18 points on 4-6 shooting from 3-point range, along with a plus/minus rating of +19 in 17 minutes. He added a pair of steals in the Clippers' 80-70 victory over the Sacramento Kings.
On Sunday, the French professional club SLUC Nancy Basket announced that it had signed Bowden, who will embark on first overseas venture in professional basketball.
Kennedy Chandler | Brooklyn Nets
Chandler impressed with averages of 14.0 points, 5.4 assists and 2.0 steals per game in five Summer League contests with the Nets.
He started in each of those five games, setting his 2023 Summer League scoring high of 17 points on July 11 in Brooklyn's 92-71 win over the Bucks. Chandler also dished out seven assists in the victory.

Keon Johnson | Portland Trail Blazers
Johnson saw action in only one game for the Trail Blazers during this year's Summer League after suffering a finger injury in Portland's first contest in Las Vegas.
Julian Phillips | Chicago Bulls
After being selected with the 35th overall pick in last month's NBA Draft, Phillips signed a four-year contract with the Bulls shortly after his strong four-game showing in the Summer League.
Logging 23.8 minutes of action per contest, Phillips posted averages of 8.8 points and 3.0 rebounds per game, while shooting at a .520 clip from the field and nearly 45 percent from beyond the 3-point arc.
Phillips poured in 16 points on 6-8 shooting in the Bulls' July 11 win over the Kings.

Plavsic made his Summer League debut with the Hawks, playing in two games. He recorded 5.5 points and 5.0 rebounds in 15.5 minutes per contest.
Plavsic tied for a game-high eight rebounds in Atlanta's 99-98 triumph over Philadelphia on July 13.

Jaden Springer | Philadelphia 76ers
Springer stuffed the stat sheet in three games with the 76ers, totaling an impressive 22.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.7 steals, 2.0 assists and 1.3 blocks per game. With an average of 30.4 minutes per contest, Springer connected on .488 of his field-goal attempts.
Springer led the way for the 76ers against the Hawks on July 13, totaling 29 points on 8-16 shooting. He connected on each of his 11 free-throw attempts in the narrow, one-point loss, adding three rebounds, a pair of assists and two steals.
