Yan Gomes – C, Chicago Cubs

Beginning his 12th year of Major League action, Gomes got the start on Opening Day for the Chicago Cubs behind the plate and has been a leader both on the field and in the clubhouse for the club. In his last game on Tuesday night, Gomes provided a spark that helped Chicago overcome a six-run deficit in the third inning and finished the day with a pair of hits, a run scored and a run driven in.

Nick Senzel – CF, Cincinnati Reds

Made his season debut Thursday night after a brief stint on the IL to open the season.

Will start his first full season of professional baseball in High-A Spokane after playing in six games with Colorado during Spring Training. Currently rated the No. 10 prospect in the Rockies' system.
Chad Dallas – RHP, Vancouver Canadians (High-A TOR)

Started the season incredibly strong, tossing five innings and allowing one run on four hits in his season debut against Tri-Cities. Dallas is beginning his second season of pro ball.

Zach Daniels – OF, Corpus Christi Hooks (AA HOU)
Season: 4 G, 13 AB, 2 R, 5 H, 7 TB, 2 2B, 1 RBI, 0 BB, 1 K, 1 SB, .385 AVG, .385 OBP, .538 SLG
Played in 11 Spring Training games with Houston before being assigned to Double-A Corpus Christi to start the season. Hit .211 in Spring Training with 4 RBIs and 2 runs scored. With the Hooks, Daniels has started the year hot, going 5-for-13 in his first four games, a .385 average. Two of those hits went for extra bases.

Max Ferguson – 2B, Greenville Drive (High-A BOS)
Season: 4 G, 13 AB, 1 R, 4 H, 4 TB, 2 RBI, 3 BB, 4 K, 4 SB, .308 AVG, .438 OBP, .308 SLG
Played in three games during Spring Training with Boston before being assigned to High-A Greenville. In his last two games, Ferguson is 4-for-7 with two RBIs and two stolen bases. The speed-demon has swiped four bases in just four games and has yet to be thrown out on the basepaths.

Drew Gilbert – OF, Asheville Tourists (High-A HOU)
Season: 4 G, 18 AB, 1 R, 6 H, 7 TB, 1 2B, 0 RBI, 1 BB, 6 K, .333 AVG, .368 OBP, .389 SLG
Currently ranks as the Houston Astros' No. 2 prospect in the farm system and has enjoyed a strong start to the season for High-A Asheville, amassing six hits in four games.
Sean Hunley – RHP, Montgomery Biscuits (AA TB)
Season: 1 App, 1 GS, 0-0, 2.25 ERA, 4 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 6 K, 1.00 WHIP, .250 BAA
Begun the year in Double-A Montgomery and made his season debut on April 11 against Tennessee, firing four innings of one-run ball with just four hits surrendered and six punchouts.
Ben Joyce – RHP, Rocket City Trash Pandas (AA LAA)
Season: 1 App, 0-1, 13.50 ERA, 0.2 IP, 0 H, 5 R, 1 ER, 4 BB, 1 K, 6.00 WHIP, .000 BAA
Received a non-roster invite to Spring Training and performed well in seven games, striking out 10 batters and allowing just two earned runs across 6.2 innings pitched. Joyce is starting the year in Double-A Rocket City where he has pitched in one game. Rated the No. 11 prospect in the Angels' organization.
Cortland Lawson – SS, Fredericksburg Nationals (A WAS)
Season: 3 G, 12 AB, 1 R, 2 H, 2 TB, 0 RBI, 0 BB, 6 K, 1 SB, .167 AVG, .167 OBP, .167 SLG
Assigned to Single-A Fredericksburg to start the year and has already played in three games for the Nationals, collecting a pair of hits, a run scored and a stolen base.
Jackson Leath – RHP, Down East Wood Ducks (A TEX)
Season: 1 App, 0-0, 1 HLD, 4.50 ERA, 2 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 3 K, 1.50 WHIP, .143 BAA
Kicked off the season in Single-A Down East and has made just one appearance, coming out of the bullpen in the Wood Ducks' 6-5 win over Augusta on April 11. Leath earned the hold after coming on in the fifth and turning in two innings.
Zach Linginfelter – RHP, Reading Fightin Phils (AA PHI)
Season: 2 App, 0-0, 1 HLD, 0.00 ERA, 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 2 K, 0.00 WHIP, .00 BAA
Picked up in the offseason by the Philadelphia Phillies organization and was assigned to Double-A Reading where he has made two appearances early in the year and has not given up a baserunner in those two innings of work. He has been a high-leverage guy thus far, posting a hold on April 13, coming in in the eighth inning of a two-run ballgame and shutting down the Hartford offense.
Trey Lipscomb – 3B, Wilmington Blue Rocks (High-A WAS)
Season: 6 G, 23 AB, 3 R, 7 H, 9 TB, 2 2B, 5 RBI, 0 BB, 5 K, 2 SB, .304 AVG, .333 OBP, .391 SLG
Saw nine games of action for the Nationals during Spring Training and was solid for the team, going 4-for-9 with a homer, a double, four runs scored and four RBIs. Lipscomb was assigned to High-A Wilmington and has collected seven hits through six games thus far for the Blue Rocks. Currently sits at No. 19 in the Nationals' top prospects list.

Andre Lipcius – 2B, Toledo Mud Hens (AAA DET)
Season: 11 G, 45 AB, 9 R, 13 H, 22 TB, 3 2B, 2 HR, 10 RBI, 4 BB, 12 K ,.289 AVG, .353 OBP, .489 SLG
Earned a non-roster invite to Spring Training with Detroit and played in 17 games for the Tigers, going 12-for-41 with three homers, seven runs scores, 11 RBIs and three doubles. He was optioned to Triple-A Toledo to open the season where he has started 13-for-45 in his first 11 games with two homers and a .353 on-base percentage. Currently ranks at the No. 21 prospect in the Tigers' system.

Will Mabrey – LHP, Visalia Rawhide (A ARI)
Season: 3 App, 0-0, 9.00 ERA, 3 IP, 7 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 2 BB, 5 K, 3.00 WHIP, .500 BAA
Playing his first season of professional ball, Mabrey was assigned to Single-A Visalia and has appeared in three games for the Rawhide, striking out five batters in three innings of work.
Mark McLaughlin – RHP, Kannapolis Cannon Ballers (A CWS)
Season: 1 App, 0-0, 15.43 ERA, 2.1 IP, 2 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 3 BB, 3 K, 2.14 WHIP, .250 BAA
Seeing his first action outside of the complex league, McLaughlin was assigned to Single-A Kannapolis where he has pitched in one game thus far this season, a 2.1 inning outing on April 12 where he struck out three.
Jorel Ortega – SS, Fort Myers Mighty Mussels (A MIN)
Season: 6 G, 20 AB, 4 R, 5 H, 8 TB, 3 2B, 0 RBI, 4 BB, 5 K, 3 SB, .250 AVG, .375 OBP, .400 SLG
Has started very strong with Single-A Fort Myers, posting five hits, three for extra-bases, in 20 at bats and scoring four runs while swiping three bags for the Mighty Mussels. Ortega also saw three games of action in Spring Training with the big club.
Connor Pavolony – C, Bowie Baysox (AA BAL)

Jake Rucker – 3B, Wichita Wind Surge (AA MIN)

Saw action in eight Spring Training games for the Twins, posting a 2-for-8 batting line with two RBIs and a stolen base before being assigned to Double-A Wichita. Through six games, he is 5-for-18 at the plate with a double, three RBIs, and a stolen base.
Andrew Schultz – RHP, Reading Fightin Phils (AA PHI)
Season: 2 App, 0-1, 13.50 ERA, 2 IP, 4 H, 4 R, 3 ER, 1 BB, 3 K, 2.50 WHIP, .400 BAA
Played in six Spring Training games for the Phillies and made two saves in six games, allowing no hits and punching out six hitters. Schultz was assigned to Double-A Reading to open the season and has made two appearances thus far this season, striking out three batters in two innings of work.

Alerick Soularie – OF, Wichita Wind Surge (AA MIN)

Saw two games of action in Spring Training, batting .500, before being assigned to Double-A Wichita to start the year. With the Wind Surge, he has scored a pair of runs in three games played and swiped a base on April 12 against Northwest Arkansas.
Liam Spence – SS, South Bend Cubs (Rookie CHC)
Season: 3 G, 9 AB, 0 R, 1 H, 1 TB, 0 RBI, 1 BB, 3 K, 1 SB, .111 AVG, .200 OBP, .111 SLG
Spent the preseason playing for Team Australia in the 2023 World Baseball Classic, advancing through the group stage to the quarterfinals before falling to Team Cuba, 4-3, in Tokyo, Japan. Spence was assigned to High-A South Bend where he has played in three games for the Cubs.
Garrett Stallings – RHP, Bowie Baysox (AA BAL)
Season: 1 App, 1 GS, 0-0, 4.50 ERA, 4 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 0 BB, 4 K, 1.00 WHIP, .250 BAA
Made one appearance in Spring Training with Baltimore and was assigned to Double-A Bowie to start the regular season. He started one game this season, facing Akron on April 11, and threw four innings with four strikeouts but did not have a decision.
Drew Steckenrider – RHP, Las Vegas Aviators (AAA OAK)
Season: no stats
Signed with the Oakland Athletics in the offseason and was a non-roster invitee to Spring Training where he logged 11 appearances, a hold, and 11 strikeouts in Mesa, Arizona. Steckenrider was assigned to Triple-A Las Vegas where he is currently on the restricted list.
Seth Stephenson – OF, Lakeland Flying Tigers (A DET)
Season: 6 G, 20 AB, 5 R, 5 H, 7 TB, 1 3B, 2 RBI, 3 BB, 4 K, 2 SB, .250 AVG, .375 OBP, .350 SLG
Assigned to Single-A Lakeland to start the season after playing in five Spring Training games with the Tigers. Stephenson is coming off a multi-hit game a night ago where he went 2-for-4 with a triple and two runs scored in a 6-3 win over Bradenton.
Blade Tidwell – RHP, Brooklyn Cyclones (High-A NYM)
