CABO SAN LUCAS, Mexico – The 14th-ranked Tennessee men's golf team concluded round two at the Cabo Collegiate on Monday and is tied for 12th place entering the tournament's final round.
The Vols shot 8-over for the day and are currently at 28-over in total. Continuing his momentum from day one, Jake Hall gave Tennessee its best score for the second consecutive day, shooting a 2-under 69. The redshirt junior is 1-under through two rounds and tied for eighth place, eyeing his second top-10 finish of the season.
Caleb Surratt and Bryce Lewis posted counting rounds of 1-over 73 on Monday. Surratt is at a two-round total of 8-over and is tied for 54th heading into round three. Lewis is three strokes behind Surratt at 11-over and is tied for 59th place ahead of the final round.
Laurent Desmarchais and Evan Woosley-Reed each shot 6-over 77 in round two. Desmarchais currently sits tied with Lewis at 11-over, while Woosley-Reed heads into round three at 14-over and tied for 65th place.
