Men’s Golf Central: All-American Intercollegiate

The 14th-ranked Tennessee men's golf team is set to tee off its third contest of the spring, competing in the All-American Intercollegiate in Houston, Texas.
The tournament is set to be played at the par-72, 7,425-yard Golf Club of Houston. The club was founded in 2003 and has hosted the PGA Tour's Houston Open and serves as the home course for the men's and women's golf teams at the University of Houston.
The Vols are set to compete in three rounds—teeing off the tournament with 36 holes on Monday and then a final 18-hole round on Tuesday.
In addition to Tennessee's five-man lineup competing at the All-American Intercollegiate, Evan Woosley-Reed, Laurent Desmarchais and Josh Hill are set to compete at the All-American Individual, which is also taking place on Monday and Tuesday.
According to Golfstat's rankings, Tennessee is the highest-ranked team in the 21-team field. This year's event marks the first time the Vols will tee it up in the All-American Intercollegiate under head coach Brennan Webb.
THE VOLS' LINEUP
Bryce Lewis
Dating to the Lampkin Grips San Diego Classic in March of 2020, Lewis is set to make his 30th consecutive appearance in the Tennessee lineup. This season alone, Lewis has logged seven rounds in the 60s and currently holds a 70.80 scoring average.
Caleb Surratt
Surratt was Tennessee's highest finisher for the third time this season at the Cabo Collegiate after climbing the leaderboard on the final day via a 3-under 68. The true freshman continues to lead the team with 13 rounds of par or better, as well as a 70.00 stroke average.
Lance Simpson
The redshirt freshman is back in the lineup for the second time this spring after competing individually at the Wolfpack Individual Invite, where he shot 3-over to tie for 12th place overall. Simpson has registered three top-25 finishes in six tournaments this season.
Jake Hall
Hall posted the two best rounds for Tennessee through the first two days of the Cabo Collegiate. The redshirt junior has logged two top-25 finishes and 10 rounds of par or better this season.
Cade Russell
After competing individually in two spring tournaments, Russell is making a reappearance in the Vols' lineup. In the fall, the Knoxville native notched his highest career finish of tied for seventh to aid Tennessee in a team title in the Purdue Fall Invitational.

Evan Woosley-Reed
The true freshman posted back-to-back top-10 finishes to kick off his spring campaign and holds a 72.22 spring stroke average, which is the second lowest behind Surratt. Additionally, Woosley-Reed has had five under-par rounds in four tournaments.
Laurent Desmarchais
Desmarchais has tallied a top-15 finish in each tournament he has competed as an individual in this season. The Quebec native has the second-most rounds of par or better on the team with 12.
Josh Hill
Hill has participated in two tournaments this season, including the Wolfpack Individual Invite where he placed just outside of the top 25.
