Four Lady Vols Named WGCA All-American Scholars

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Four Lady Vol golfers were named WGCA All-American Scholars, the Women's Golf Coaches Association announced Tuesday.

Mikayla Bardwell, Kayla Holden, Vanessa Gilly and Nicole Whiston each received the recognition.

The minimum cumulative GPA for being selected to the All-American Scholar Team is 3.50.

During the 2020-21 season, a program-record-breaking five Lady Vols were named WGCA All-America Scholars.

Bardwell received the honor in each of her four years on Rocky Top, while Holden, Gilly and Whiston claimed the honor for a second consecutive year.
