Bardwell Qualifies for NCAA Regionals as Individual

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee senior Mikayla Bardwell qualified for NCAA Regionals as an individual Wednesday, earning a spot in the Franklin Regional at Vanderbilt Legends Club Golf Course on May 9-11.

In 2021, Bardwell advanced as an individual at the NCAA Championship after she tied for second (-3) at the Louisville Regional.

On the year, Bardwell is the team leader in stroke average (73.05), rounds in the 60s (3), top 10 finishes (2) and is tied for most rounds of par or better (7). She earned a pair of top-15 finishes entering NCAA Regionals, including her third-place finish at the SEC Championship, which marked her best finish of the season.

Bardwell is coming off a record-breaking performance at the SEC Championship. During the second round, she broke the program and SEC Championship record for lowest round after she shot -9 to guide the Lady Vols to match play for the first time in program history.
