
Hannah Jefcoat Earns CoSIDA Academic All-District Honors

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee track and field's Hannah Jefcoat has been recognized as a member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District 3 Team, the organization announced this week.
CoSIDA's Academic All-District teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. District 3 consists of NCAA Division I schools in the states of North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
The school-record holder in women's pole vault, Jefcoat is a two-time CoSIDA academic honoree. She is also a four-time SEC Honor Roll member and recently graduated with a degree in kinesiology, earning the Volunteer of Distinction award from the University of Tennessee for her academic achievement and professional promise.
Along with her SEC and CoSIDA accolades, the Dacula, Georgia, native has been named a U.S. Track and Field & Cross County Coaches Association all-academic athlete on three occasions.
During the 2021 indoor season, Jefcoat cleared a personal-best height of 4.34 meters (14-2.75), breaking her own all-time Lady Vol record in the pole vault at Virginia Tech's Doc Hale Elite Meet. She was also named USTFCCCA Indoor All-America Honorable Mention for pole vault this past season for the second time in her career.
