SIMPSONVILLE, Ky. – The second round of NCAA Regional competition came to a close for the Tennessee women's golf team on Tuesday.

Tennessee is in 13^th place and eight strokes off the cut line entering Wednesday's final round.

"Tomorrow is a go for broke round," head coach Judi Pavon said. "We need to play more aggressively and try to make something happened. Today was a pretty good team round, but the conditions were better so there were some low scores out there."

Micheala Williams-Luck shot even-par (72) on Tuesday and is in 20^th place heading into day three. Her score marks the fourth time in the past five rounds that the graduate student has registered par or better. She had three consecutive under-par rounds at the SEC Championship.

Freshman Vanessa Gilly shot 1-over, 73, in the second round and is +4 overall through 36 holes. She is positioned in a tie for 31^st place at 4-over, 148.

Mikayla Bardwell shot 3-over, 75, on Tuesday and currently stands tied for 28^th place at +3 (147). The junior is on the cusp of her fifth top-25 finish of the season.

Kayla Holden rounded out Tennessee's second round scoring lineup, finishing round two with a score of +2 (74). She is tied for 78^th place ahead of Wednesday's final round.

Sophomore Nicole Whiston shot 5-over on day two in Simpsonville. She is tied for 84^th place.

The third and final round of the Regional will take place on Wednesday.
