Coming off a top-10 finish for the Tennessee men and several notable individual performances at the NCAA Indoor Championships, the Vols and Lady Vols will jump right into outdoor season this weekend at Auburn's Tiger Track Classic. The season opener is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, March 19-20 at the Hutsell-Rosen Track.
Â
The following weekend, the squads will split up for a pair of meets hosted by ACC schools—the FSU Relays (March 25-26) in Tallahassee and NC State's Raleigh Relays (March 25-27).
Â
The Vols and Lady Vols will compete on their home track for the first time in nearly two years when the program hosts the 53rd Tennessee Relays. The annual meet is scheduled for April 8-10 as UT welcomes 16 Division I programs to Tom Black Track.
Â
One week after the home meet, Tennessee will send separate groups of athletes to the Virginia Challenge (April 16-17) and the USC Open (April 17). The Big Orange will then send a squad north to Louisville the following weekend for the Clark Wood Open (April 23-24).
Â
Tennessee's 2021 regular-season finale will take place at Tom Black Track when the Vols host the one-day Tennessee Challenge on Saturday, May 1.
Â
The Vols and Lady Vols will begin outdoor postseason action May 13-15 in College Station, Texas, at the 2021 SEC Championships. NCAA East Preliminary qualifiers will head to Jacksonville, Florida, May 27-29, while the NCAA Outdoor Championships return to Eugene, Oregon, at the newly renovated historic Hayward Field. The four-day national meet is set for June 6-9.
