Lady Vols Wrap Up Round Two of The Ally

WEST POINT, Miss. – Round two of The Ally came to a close Tuesday with the Tennessee women's golf team tied for tenth ahead of the tournament's final 18 holes.
Freshman sensation Bailey Davis carded a par or better performance for a fifth consecutive round, shooting a 72 (E) in the second round. Her day included four birdies and she is tied for ninth place (-2) entering the final round.
Vanessa Gilly, one of two sophomores for the Lady Vols, posted a bogey-free back nine (holes 1-9 Tuesday) to finish the round at 2-over, 74. Overall, she stands in a tie for 36th at 4-over.
On her 20th birthday, sophomore Kayla Holden held steady at even-par through the day's opening nine holes and after shooting +3 (75) Tuesday, wrapped up round two tied for 55th at +9 overall.
Junior Nicole Whiston rounded out Tennessee's scoring lineup in round two, shooting 6-over, 78, and is currently in 66th place at +13 overall. Senior Hadley Walts was +11 (83) Tuesday and is in 68th place (+17) with 18 holes remaining.
