Alford-Sullivan Announces 2021 Indoor Track & Field Schedule

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee director of track & field/cross country Beth Alford-Sullivan has announced the program's competition schedule for the 2021 indoor track & field campaign. The winter slate features six regular-season meets at three different regional sites before the Vols and Lady Vols begin postseason action in late February.

After a 321-day hiatus from track & field competition, Tennessee will open its indoor season on Saturday, January 16 in Nashville at the Commodore Indoor. The following weekend, the Big Orange will make the short trip to Blacksburg, Virginia, for the Hokie Invitational (Jan. 22-23) before closing out the month at the Bob Pollock Meet (Jan. 29-30) in Clemson, S.C.

UT will return to Virginia Tech February 5-6 for the Doc Hale Elite Meet before wrapping up the regular indoor season with a pair of meets the weekend of February 12-13. The Vols and Lady Vols will split up with entries at both the Tiger Paw Invite (Clemson) and Music City Challenge (Nashville).

Tennessee's indoor postseason competition will take place at the Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas, as the Razorbacks will serve as host of both the SEC Indoor Championships (Feb. 26-27) and NCAA Indoor Championships (March 12-13).
