Kredich Welcomes 11 New Lady Vols to Rocky Top
May 04, 2020 | Swimming & Diving
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. –Tennessee's director of swimming and diving Matt Kredich has announced the addition of 11 signees for the women's program's 2020 recruiting class.
Coming off the best season in the program's history, the new crop of Lady Vols will look to build on the 2019-20 team's SEC championship and bring more hardware back to Rocky Top.
"We are so excited about the character and ability of this class of signees," Kredich said. "They are really diverse in background and skills, and they cover a wide range of events. They complement each other really nicely though, and give us added strength and depth in all of our swimming events. We are most excited about one characteristic that they all have in common: they each strongly resonated with the Tennessee Lady Vol culture and tradition. They are competitive, driven to improve, and are looking to be part of a strong family atmosphere. They will have an immediate impact on this team as newcomers and undoubtably will build that impact over their whole time at Tennessee."
