KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The No. 4/12 Tennessee swimming and diving team closes out the regular season Saturday as it hosts No. 8/9 Florida for senior day at the Allan Jones Aquatic Center.
The senior day recognitions begin at 9:30 a.m. and will be followed by the start of the dual meet at 10 a.m. Live results will be available on the MeetMobile app and at DiveMeets.com.
The fourth-ranked Lady Vols (7-0) enter the meet undefeated on the year with five wins over top 25 teams, following last week's win over No. 9 Georgia. On the men's side, the Vols (6-1) suffered their first loss of the season, falling to the eighth-ranked Bulldogs.
Florida leads the all-time series on both sides with the Gator men holding a 26-19 advantage and the Gator women leading the series 31-4. The Lady Vols beat Florida in 2018, the last time the teams met in Knoxville. The Vols last beat Florida's men in 2008.
With a win, Tennessee's women would finish the season undefeated for just the third time in program history and for the first time since finishing 5-0 in the 1972-73 season. A win for the men would give them their best finish since going 6-0 in 2002.
