Legendary artist set to rock Neyland Stadium Nov. 16
Let's call last Friday's initial on-sale a "sound check." This Thursday marks the main event.
After intense demand for tickets to the highly anticipated Nov. 16 Garth Brooks concert at Neyland Stadium forced sales to be halted last Friday, Ticketmaster will resume ticket sales this Thursday, Sept. 19, at 10 a.m. ET / 9 a.m. CT.
The "virtual waiting room" will re-open one hour prior to the resumption of sales (9 a.m. ET / 8 a.m. CT), and purchasers are strongly encouraged to utilize this feature.
Tickets for this once-in-a-lifetime event cost $94.95, including all fees, and can only be purchased via Ticketmaster through one of the following three methods:
Ticketmaster again is offering its "Garth Smart Queue," or virtual waiting room, feature that goes live Thursday at 9 a.m. ET / 8 a.m. CT. For information Garth's Smart Queue, click HERE.
There is an eight-ticket limit per account, and attendees of all ages must have a ticket. All seats are reserved, and staging will be in-the-round (the entire stadium will be sold, including field-level seats).
NOTE: Tickets will NOT be available for purchase through Knoxville Tickets, the UT Ticket Office or AllVols.com. There is no official resale marketplace.
"Hosting Garth Brooks as the University of Tennessee celebrates its 225th anniversary is extra special," said Chancellor Donde Plowman. "This is a tremendous event, not just for UT, but for Knoxville and the surrounding communities as well. We are excited to work with our community partners to host one of the best-selling musical artists of all time at the best stadium in the country."
This spectacular show—part of the ongoing Garth Brooks Stadium Tour—by one of the world's best-selling musical artists of all-time will take place rain or shine in the University of Tennessee's historic football venue that boasts a capacity of 102,455. It will be the first concert at Neyland Stadium in 16 years and just the third in the venue's nearly 100-year history.
"This is an incredibly special opportunity for the University of Tennessee to host an event of this magnitude," UT Director of Athletics Phillip Fulmer said. "I'm grateful to Garth Brooks and his team for working with us to host what is going to be an epic night in Neyland Stadium.
"I know we'll have a packed house, and 'The Third Saturday in November' will go down as a can't-miss spectacle that fans will never forget."
The University of Tennessee is hosting the concert with support from Visit Knoxville.
"Visit Knoxville is thrilled to partner with the University of Tennessee for this epic event," Visit Knoxville President Kim Bumpas said. "Garth Brooks is one of the greatest performers of all-time, and Knoxville has hosted him from the beginning of his storied career. To bring him back to one of the most iconic college sports venues in the country is a huge win for Knoxville."

A designated rideshare drop-off/pickup area will be located on Circle Drive near Ayres Hall (not Circle Park).
