Second Team All-America status in track & field is reserved for student-athletes that finish ninth through 16th in their respective events at the national championships. The top-8 finishers in each event are awarded First Team acclaim, while the 17th through 24th-place finishers are tabbed with honorable mention accolades.
Â
SOPHOMORE SECOND-TEAMERS: Korakidis opened the day for Tennessee in the men's hammer throw, finishing 13th among the NCAA's top throwers with a mark of 67.65m (221-11) on his third and final attempt. The sophomore from Kilkís, Greece became UT's fifth hammer throw All-American along with VFLs Wes Boudreau (1996-97), Cameron Brown (2017), Garland Porter (2005) and Seth Whitener (2017).
