KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Two Tennessee men's golfers earned SEC accolades, the conference office announced Thursday.
Â
Redshirt sophomore Hunter Wolcott was named Second Team All-SEC, while junior Brayden Garrison was named to the SEC Community Service Team.
Â
Wolcott led the Vols this season in stroke average with a 71.91 mark, the fourth-best single-season mark in program history. He also possesses the team-high mark in rounds of par or better (20), top-10 finishes (4) and rounds in the 60s (5).
Â
Wolcott, a Burns, Tenn. native, is Tennessee's 55th All-SEC selection in program history.
Â
Garrison was named to the SEC Community Service team after helping out with various causes in the Knoxville area. Among others, the junior volunteered at the Adapted Sports Fest., the Elite Meet and at Sevier County schools in the past year.
