All Four Vols Finish at Par or Better at JT Poston Invitational

Redshirt freshman Bryce Lewis finishes tied for 13th and the top Vol on the leaderboard
SAPPHIRE, N.C. – All four Tennessee men's golfers at the JT Poston Invitational finished even par or better with redshirt Bryce Lewis being the highest on the leaderboard.
Lewis surged up the leaderboard in the final round of the competition as he had the second highest jump of any player in the tournament. He turned in the lowest score of any Vol this week with a 67 (-4) on Tuesday.
His final round helped him finish tied for 13th on the leaderboard, moving up 18 spots on the final day. Lewis was as low as 5-under-par before having a bogey in the final holes.
The Hendersonville, Tennessee was joined by redshirt junior Tyler Johnson and senior Jake Meenhorst below par. After turning in under-par first and second rounds, Johnson finished the week with a 72 (+1) in the final round. He tied for 34th individually at 2-under-par.
Meenhorst was just one stroke back of him and tied for 37th at 1 under. After an opening round 73 (+2), he bounced back with two rounds of par or better to help him shoot up the leaderboard.
Redshirt freshman Jake Hall bookended his tournament with rounds of par or better including a third round score of 69 (-2). He finished the tournament tied for 42nd, jumping up eight spots on Tuesday.
