Collins, Strother to Compete at NACAC Seniors

TORONTO, Canada — Tennessee track and field's Shania Collins and Nathan Strother will represent the United States this weekend at the NACAC Senior Area Championships at Varsity Stadium.
Strother, who finished his Tennessee career in June, will compete in the 400 meters and both the 4x100m and 4x400m relays.
He ran for the United States for the first time last month, helping the Americans capture gold in the 4x400m relay (2:59.78) at the Athletic World Cup in London. The U.S. team went on to win the team title. In another career first, Strother also competed the Diamond League meet in London.
Collins enjoyed a breakout collegiate track season and carried that into the summer, taking seventh in the 100m and fourth in the 200m at the USA Championships in June.
This week, Collins will be a member of the U.S. 4x100m relay team.
The NACAC is the track and field governing body for nations in North America, Central America and the Caribbean.
