SUMMER UPDATE: Schuck, Profit Capture Wins On ITA Summer Circuit

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Tennessee redshirt junior Gabby Schuck and senior Elizabeth Profit both claimed titles on Monday at the Georgia Gwinnett College ITA Summer Circuit.

Schuck – who earlier this month won the women's doubles title at the Middle Tennessee ITA Summer Circuit – added to her summer accomplishments with a singles title. Schuck posted a 5-0 singles record over the course of the weekend, capping off singles competition with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Margaret Polk.

The Colorado Springs native also advanced to the quarterfinals in doubles play.

Profit played through a 20-team field to win the doubles title, culminating in a 6-2 win over Carling Deehr and Alexa Webb of Western Carolina. Profit and Martin won each of their four matches by a final tally of 6-2.

Profit also competed in singles, winning two matches before being eliminated.
