Nolan Ray and Sean Wilcox compete as individuals at TVA Credit Union Invite

Ray finishes inside of the top 25 on the individual leaderboard
KILLEN, Ala. -- University of Tennessee men's golf redshirt junior Nolan Ray and redshirt sophomore Sean Wilcox competed as individuals the TVA Credit Union Invite this week.
Ray, who was participating in his second tournament of the fall season, spent all three rounds inside of the top 20. After the first round, the Brentwood, Tenn. native was tied for 12th with an opening round of 72 (E).Â
He was consistent all week long finishing fourth in the field with 38 pars that included 15 in the second round where he finished 1-under over the final 15 holes of play. Ray finished the week tied for 19th for his first top 25 finish of the season.
Like Ray, Wilcox spent most of the tournament inside of the top 30 on the leaderboard before finishing in a tie for 41st. Wilcox got his tournament off to a quick start as he was 1-under-par through four holes of play. He finished round one with a score of 74 (+2) and in a tie for 28th where he would remain after a second round of 75 (+3).
