Charlie Ford Nabs Eighth On European Tour

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Former Vol Charlie Ford recently came up with a top-10 effort on the European Tour, tying for eighth place at the Joburg Open in Johannesburg, South Africa, on Dec. 7-10.
Playing at the Randpark Golf Club, Ford put together rounds of 70, 64, 71 and 70 to finish 12-under at 275. He earned 20,456 British pounds ($27,744 in U.S. dollars) for that performance.
