BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Tennessee redshirt junior Colin Zeng was named SEC Diver of the Week for the first time, the conference office announced Tuesday.Â
Zeng, a transfer from Ohio State and 2016 NCAA platform champion, helped the Vols to a double dual meet sweep of top-25 opponents Auburn and Wisconsin. The win was the Tennessee men's first against Auburn since 2008 and first on the road since 1995.Â
He won the 1-meter springboard competition with a score of 377.50 and cracked the 400-point marker for the first time this season with a 410.35 winning result on 3-meter. Senior teammate Liam Stone finished second in both events, helping boost the Vols' point total.Â
The Tennessee men and women are back in action Oct. 27 with a double dual meet against Kentucky and Indiana at home.Â
