VFL Nagy Finished T2 at TN State Am

JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. -- VFL Michael Nagy tied for second at the Tennessee State Amateur Championship on Friday.
At the Blackthorn Club event, Nagy tied with Ben Wolcott of Ole Miss as both players posted a 6-under 282. Nagy shot his lowest round of 70 on the third day of the event and finished 12 shots under winner, Wes Gosselin.
Following Nagy, incoming freshman Hunter Wolcott tied for 33rd at the event. Wolcott shot 10-over 298 with his best day of 71 occurring in the first round.
Senior Jack Smith tied for 48th as he shot 14-over 302 after posting a low 71 on the second day.
