Davis-White Advances to Jamaican 200m Final

KINGSTON, Jamaica -- Tennessee's Kali Davis-White has qualified for the women's 200-meter final at the 2016 Jamaican National Senior Championships.
The Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA) is hosting the Jamaican National Senior Championships, which function as Jamaica's Olympic trials, at National Stadium in Kingston.
Davis-White finished first in the second 200-meter semifinal heat, crossing the finish line in 23.02. The women's 200-meter final is scheduled for Sunday, July 3, at 6:25 p.m. ET.
Davis-White, who just completed a strong debut season at Tennessee with showings at the NCAA Championships for both the indoor and outdoor seasons, finished eighth in the Jamaican women's 100-meter final on Friday in 11.37 (+0.3).
