DIVE CENTRAL: Auburn Diving Invitational

AUBURN, Ala. — The Tennessee diving team is wrapping up the fall competitive season with the three-day Auburn Diving Invitational at the James E. Martin Aquatics Center.
The championship-style meet runs Saturday through Monday. The meet begins Saturday with the women’s 3-meter and men’s 1-meter springboard competitions. Sunday’s schedule includes the men’s 3-meter and women’s 1-meter, and both platform contests take place Monday.
The invitational starts at noon Eastern all three days of the meet. Springboard finals on Saturday and Sunday, which will feature 16 divers, begin at 6 p.m. Platform diving will be only one session.
This weekend gives the Vols an opportunity to prepare for the postseason. Auburn is hosting the NCAA Zone B Diving Championships in March.
The Auburn Diving Invitational is the first diving-only meet for the Vols this season. The team hosts the Tennessee Diving Invitational on January 3-5 at Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center.
