SWIM CENTRAL: Vanderbilt

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee women's swimming team is back in action Friday with a road meet at Vanderbilt.
Races begin at the Centennial Sportsplex at 6:30 p.m. Eastern (5:30 p.m. Central) in a swimming-only meet format. Vanderbilt does not field a diving team.
The Vols (2-2, 1-0 SEC) are coming off a busy two-meet week, losing to Louisville at home before defeating Kentucky and losing to Indiana the next day in Lexington, Ky.
Senior Kira Toussaint was named CollegeSwimming.com's national swimmer of the week after posting the fastest time in the country so far in the 100-yard backstroke (49.44) against Louisville. She also earned a pair of victories in the meet against Kentucky and Indiana.
Freshman Meghan Small is coming off her first two career race victories, having won the 200 backstroke (1:56.86) and 200 IM (2:00.63) against Louisville. Sophomore Madeline Banic contributed her first two-win day of the season against Kentucky and Indiana, wining ht e100 butterfly (54.26) and the 50 freestyle (23.45).
Vanderbilt (1-4) is returning to competition following from a trip to San Diego where the Commodores lostto San Diego State and UC San Diego in a double dual meet.
Friday marks the first dual meet between the programs since 2013, a 155-86 victory for Tennessee at Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center.
