GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Tennessee swimming and diving team wraps up the fall collegiate season with the three-day NC State GAC Invite at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
The championship-style meet runs Thursday through Saturday. Preliminaries begin at 9:30 a.m. with finals beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Including Tennessee, participating schools include host N.C. State, Duke, Marshall, Notre Dame, Air Force, Miami, North Carolina, West Virginia and Virginia (divers only).
The Vols split last week’s home meet against Auburn with the UT women women and men losing the fifth-ranked Tigers. Freshman Meghan Small was named the SEC Swimmer of the Week for the first time after winning three events: the 200-yard freestyle, 200 backstroke and 400 IM. Junior Liam Stone earned SEC Diver of the Week honors for a second time after sweeping the springboard events.
