KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee swimming and diving team wraps up its home fall schedule with a dual meet Friday against Auburn at Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center.
Men's and women's 1-meter springboard diving starts at noon Eastern with races beginning at 1 p.m. Admission is free.
SEC Network will film the meet, which will air Sunday at noon.
IN THE RANKINGS: In the CSCAA top 25 rankings released earlier this week, the Tennessee men are 19th and the women are 14th. Auburn's men are ranked fifth -- jumping up five spots -- and the women are 11th.
LAST WEEK: The Tennessee women (3-2, 2-0 SEC) were in action for a swimming only meet against Vanderbilt, winning 148-113. The Vols won nine of 14 events, including both relays.
The Tennessee men (1-3, 0-1) and divers will be competing for the first time since a double dual meet against Kentucky and Indiana in Lexington, Ky. The UT men lost meets to both teams, while the women's team defeated Kentucky but lost to Indiana.
NATIONAL HONORS: Sam McHugh and Kira Toussaint swept the men's and women's honors for CollegeSwimming.com's National Swimmer of the Week. McHugh won four individual events for the Vols over two meets. Toussaint uncorked the fastest time in the 100-yard backstroke so far this year (49.44). With her time, Toussaint was invited to represent the Netherlands at the FINA Short Course World Championships in December.
LAST TIME VS. AUBURN: The Vols and Tigers last faced in head-to-head competition with a dual meet in 2014. The UT women drew a tie with a late push in the final relay, while the Vols lost 157-143 in the men's meet.
