Hughes: Looking Back on European Team Championship

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Senior Teleri Hughes was selected by the Golf Union of Wales (GUW) to represent Wales as a member of the Welsh National Team in the European Ladies' Team Championship at Oddur Golf Club in Urridavollur, Iceland on July 5-9. Hughes was one of seven players selected to represent the country.

Hughes finished the two stroke play qualification rounds of the European Ladies' Team Championship with a score of 167.

Following the conclusion of the qualifying rounds, the Welsh National Team faced Poland in a round of match play in Flight C. Hughes fell to Poland's Zalewska, four and two.
